Last Friday afternoon the phone rang while I was in the garden catching some sun (yes in the UK) and the phone rang. I ran inside but missed the step and crashed onto my back. I made it to the phone before they hung up - but only to be able to say I couldn't speak as I had fallen and hurt my back. With that I fainted and dropped the phone. Some time later I tried to move on the floor, but the pain was excruciating and I couldn't get up. I saw the phone on the floor and dialled my husband's number to get help, but the phone wouldn't work because I was still connected to the original call - to CA Britline in Caen. The girl from Britline was calling my name and asked if I was ok - and a cheer went up from the customer service team - and she said that she had called me an ambulance which was on its way. A few minutes later the police were at the door - and two ambulances - all organised from France - and I was taken off eventually to hospital. I was amazed by the bank staff's efforts and thankfully I have only bruised my kidneys and nothing is broken. I'm not sitting very comfortably - but very grateful for the service provided by Credit Agricole - and thought I would share it. Phylis Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do you think it would be a kind gesture to write a letter to the top man of the firm telling him your story.Should go a long way in staff appraisal time.
