tenniswitch
Our roofer has sent us a form to fill in, entitled "ATTESTATION POUR LES TRAVAUX REALISES DANS LES LOCAUX AFFECTES DE MANIERE EXLUSIVE A L'HABITATION".It asks for the name and addresse of the proprietaire (us), and has a place for us to attest that this is our "domicile" and to fill in the adresse of "Le batiment a usage d'habitation situe a:"What I don't see is any place to indicate that this is our maison secondaire, not a primary residence.A PS at the bottom indicates that if we submit this form, we will be able to get a TVA savings of 5,5%.Does anyone know if maisons secondaires are actually eligible for this discount? If we check the box by "Mon domicile" (there's no other option listed), are we claiming that this is our primary residence?I do not want to run foul of the tax folks. BJSLIV
Tick away. The important distinction is between residential and non-residential properties. You qualify for the lower rate whatever the nature of the domicile!
