Unknown
HelloWe had our facture sent to our old house in the UK and it was only by chance I found out it had to be paid by today. I went to our local tressorerie this morning and asked if I could have a copy of the facture and was able to pay it there and then.We bought the property in May 2005 and so this is our first foncieres. The amount wasn't particuarly expensive, but I haven't a clue how they reach these amounts. What is Properties baites and properties non baties? Many thanks. Dick Smith
I believe that the taxe foncieres is based on the nominal rental value of the property, which is in itself based upon size and habitability. Batie and Non-Batie refers to land with or without buildings on it. This is calculated from the plan cadestral, I think.

Dick Smith
I assume it means any kind of building. Might be wrong.
