natalia
Hi! I'm new to the Forum but glad to find it. We're moving to France in 9 months, when I retire. Can anyone tell me what taxes we shall have to pay besides habitation and foncieres and how we could calculate it in advance on a total pension of £1600 per month? Greatful for any advice.[8-)]
Gardian
Natalia ..........May I respectfully suggest that you spend an hour or two trawling the many, many previous threads on this very subject? There are a number of very informed contributors to this forum (I'm not one of them), but the poor so-and-so's tend to get this very same question every couple of days. After some basic research, you'll have most of the answers and you can then pose a more specific question if there's something that remains unclear.Things like other unearned income, number of taxation 'parts' (i.e. adults / children) are key pieces of information that you haven't mentioned, so you are in danger of getting a gentle-ish rap across the knuckles!Enjoy the reading!
