cassie
There seems to be a rule that a fosse must be at least 35 metres away from a well.We are in the process of buying a property that has outbuildings, that we wish to covert to gites, that are much closer than this to a well.Is it possible to install a fosse nearer (few metres) to the well if we ... a) guarantee NOT to use the well or b) fill in the well with , say, ready-mixed concrete?dennis
La Guerriere
I think the 35m rule applies only if the well is actively used for drinking water
