RumziGal
What have I missed by not being in the country? It's just occurred to me that it's coming up to the day when I'm usually running along at midnight to put our completed tax return into the overflowing postbox at the Impots place.I haven't set eyes on a tax return form this year so far....... suein56
Don't panic! I am sure SD said they would be appearing at or towards the end of April this year, to be returned by 31 May.Sue [:)]

[/quote]Oh my goodness - I have just this afternoon returned from the UK and we DO have a Tax Return which, according to a fellow artisan must be filed by 1st April - although I can see no date anywhere on the forms.Form Numbers are:- 2031, D.G.I. 2033-A,D.G.I. 2033-B, D.G.I. 2033-C, D.G.I. 2033-D, D.G.I. 2033-E, D.G.I. 2033-F, D.G.I. 2033-G Please, please can someone tell me what the penalty will be for late filing as there is no way I am capable of switching back into 'bookwork' mode this evening. This is our first tax return since my husband registered and I am scared witless about getting it horribly wrong.Val
Frank
HiDon't know if this helps, but I visited the impots last week to get our first tax return and was told the form wasn't available until mid April and to be completed by end of May. I think perhaps we should look for an accountant, does anyone happen to know one in our area who could cope with my limited French.Valps: love SD's comment - very amusing. Jazzer
This is my first year of submitting personal tax returns in France.Previously I have submitted BIC forms to Paris, and having advised them last year that I am now residing in France assumed they would send this years form here. To date I have not received them. I assume I still have to submit BIC forms- or is the informatiuoin collected on my Private return? I have tried the site mentioned above by Val but on opening I get a wondow adising that the form corresponding to my research is not currently on line on taxes gouv.fr. I can OK the window and have tried inserting some form numbers but the boxes won't allow me to fill them wih the numbers I thought appropriate. I' m obviously doing something wrong. Any advice please- or can I get form from local office. Many thanks
