londoneye
Both my partner and myself have bank accounts (savings and current) in France.I have received a form 'justicatif a produire aux services fiscaux' but my partner has not received one from his bank. It seems that the first page should go to the tax office, with your tax return, and the second page should be retained. Both of the pages of the form seem to be blank, so I am not quite sure what to do with it !Could I not just send a copy of the end of year interest statement which we both received from our respective banks? Does anyone know please ?Also I asked for form 2047 when i went to tax office, but as far as I can see I have nothing to put in it - so another stupid question, do I just not fill it in.I have completed 2042 and 3916 showing my current account in the uk. I suppose I should declare interest on the current account, but I believe it was about £2.00 last year, are they really going to be interested ? suein56
If no-one else is going to reply:With regard to the form justicatif cannot you now speak to your bank and ask what you need to do with it - our local branch team are great and help with all things French.Re the 2047, as someone said before on here, it is a working paper for any declarations you might need to make that come from a foreign source. So if you really have 'nothing to declare' from the UK or elsewhere then perhaps you don't need to complete it - no premium bond wins, no building society interest, no dividends from UK shares?Sue
