Paul
Hi Guys I need an answer to a question i hope you can help.I have had a property built , and just recieved a invoice from the construction company. A invoice for Taxe d'Locale Equipement.I have read somewhere that it is a tax that goes towards local infrastructure, and that it is not always paid in Communes less than 10000 habitants.I would like to know is it me who should pay this or the construction company( as i feel it is a planning issue )Hope someone can helpRegards Paolo
BJSLIV
Unless you are buying a house that was being developed by the builder for sale then its down to the person having the house built to pay. Its the person who applied for the permission who is responsble.
Paul
Hi There , Can i just confirm the above, I never applied for permission it was done some 7 months before i came across the property.Yes the builder was developing the house intending to sell it.So am i right in saying its down to the Builder. He has recieved the bill and told me that they dont send them out to the purchasers as its to much hassle and confusing (i smell a fish).Regards Paolo
