Crevette
I am trying to get my head round if I would have a problem investing "outside of" a PEA. I found some info here ; http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cache:BU_tR4OTQ_sJ:www.lerevenu.com/ecole_revenu/fiscalite.asp+20000+cessions&hl=fr&ct=clnk&cd=16&gl=fr If I have understood well ; There is a "selling limit" of 20,000 for a year which is tax free. i) If you are married then the limit is 40,000 (+ 20,000 for each kid).ii) On this amount you don't pay any taxes - either social or other tax..? If you exceed this then ouch! 16% on the gaim and 11 cotisation social = 26% I would imigine it can't be too hard to work out - say you are married and buy 20000 of shares, and they go up to 46000. In year 1 you sell 38000 (allowing for share handling costs, etc) of your shares and you are OK.Year 2 you can sell the rest... Have I understood well? Can I do the same but inside a PEA? All thoughts welcomed. -Rob-

I don't know what happens with a PEA.
