seb47
Will any paperwork be needed for our first visit to the tax office? Thanks,
NormanH
Depends what you want to do.The first time I went many years ago I just went to pick up the forms, but usually if you need to do anything more (like asking for help filling in the forms) you could take your Passport Social security no.etc and something like your electricity bill to prove your address..I'd also take along bills for Taxe D'habitation and Taxe foncières as they will have your fiscal number on
Sunday Driver
Just a quick question - why do you want to visit the tax office?
seb47
Thanks Norman.SD - just because it's our first year of submitting a return and I'd read you need to go along to introduce yourself. We're in the town tomorrow anyway so it's no hassle.Cheers,
Sunday Driver
You do not have to go along and introduce yourself. All you need to do is collect the necessary forms, take them home and fill them in, then send them off in the post.No need to produce any documents - just file your back up stuff for any future queries.
