Maggie
Very sorry, but I'm a bit stuck ... can anybody help please? We had an insert fitted last year (by a registered artisan) and I understand that we can claim back 50% of the cost of the appliance, not the fitting ... is that correct? If so, have I read the instructions on completing form 2042 correctly in that the amount claimed goes in box 7WF? I will of course attach a copy of the facture to our return. We also haven't received form 2047 yet, although 2042 arrived last week ... has anybody received theirs yet or are you downloading? This forum is brilliant, so much information - many thanks everybodyBest regards
Phil & Pat
Yes, box 7WF was where I put the amount last year. Haven't had this year's form yet to see if the boxes are the same.
Sunday Driver
You'll only receive the 2042 by post. As the system won't know you have foreign earnings to declare, you'll have to get a 2047 from your tax office or download one.
Chas
We had to collect the forms the first year but since then our 2047 has arrived a few days after the 2042, pre printed with name and address. We are currently waiting for this years!
dr orloff
...and provided that your insert is of 'flamme verte' standard.
