tuppence
I submitted my tax returns for the first time last month as required. Do I now need to send in my FD5 forms to the Hotel des Impots? If not then when do they need to be sent? I don't have a tax reference here in France yet to fill in on the FD5 form, do the Impots people fill this in for me? Perhaps on another tack, as I am a 'senior citizen'[:(] do I get a reduction on Taxe d'habitation/fonciere as someone has told me I might?thankstuppence
dolly daydream
You could have handed it in with your tax form and they would have filled in the reference. You will be getting your notification of what is due very soon with your reference and can hand it in to tax office. The sooner you do it the quicker the UK will sort things out. Dont know about senior citizen reductions but someone will pop up who does.
gosub
You don't get a reduction just because you are a "Senior Citizen" it's possible that if your income as reported on your tax return is below a certain figure, then you could get an automatic reduction for this years Taxe D'habitation.
