nectarine
Mr. Nectarine is searching for something like Tetrian (I think that's how it's spelt) which he says is a filler that sets rock hard. We want to repair some self-assembly furniture and it will fill some holes.I know there's plenty of fillers available in the bricos but does anyone have any experience of these and can recommend a brand name, please? Many thanks
AnOther
Sorry, don't know the French equivalent nor can I recommend another product but it's TETRION not Tetrian [;-)]EDIT: Just noticed you'd spelt it right in the title but wrongly in the text, happy hunting ! Oxford Knight
My favourite product for fixing things is epoxy putty. It comes in a sausage type roll that you can cut and activate by kneading in your hand and then applying wherever you need to fill, join, seal just about anything. It sets like stone. I can't remember the brand name but the last tube I bought in L'eclerc was in yellow and black packaging. Great stuff.
La Guerriere
Agree with OK, the epoxy putty is great stuff. There seem to be a number of brands both France or UK. Or for general wood repairs, two-pack wood filler is pretty good on both furniture and windows.
