PG
Dear Forum UsersI am new to this site but would very much appreciate some advice on how to go about finding a property in northern Brittany. We are new to this so would like details of helpful sources/organisations to contact. We are interested in a property in good condition rather than one we would renovate.Look forward to hearing from you,PG.
LEO
Hi PG,You dont have to contact anyone!Visit for a short stay ,then while here, choose an area you like . Rent one of the many houses available on any French forum It is much more prudent to rent first and then decide what's next.Kind regards,Leo
La Guerriere
You will find that there are many French Estate Agents with websites. They will have many houses listed. The information about the aforementioned houses will be minimal i.e. it will say something like:maison 6 pieces bon etatpossibly a bad picture and that's yer lot. Don't expect anything like UK-level information.Best method is catch ferry to St Malo and drive around a bit. You will see plenty for sale signs both from estate agents and from notaires. You will be able to deduce far more by looking at things from the road than you will ever find out from the cryptic comments ...... then you can enquire .....
