allowance for heating oil

If it is announced, you need to have declared your revenue for tax purposes here in France & have received the Impots sur Revenue form stating that you are not eligible to pay any tax as your income is below the level required.

You then need to keep your oil receipt, I think it's between September & January 1st.

Send off a copy of the Impots form & the receipt for your oil. We received our payment direct into our bank account shortly afterwards.
Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes, does anyone know the rules for claiming a 200 euro allowance for central heating oil  purchased between certain dates each year ??
As heating oil prices have gone down, the French government has decided that the heating oil allowance (prime à la cuve) would not be renewed.

Details in French here and in English here.
