brodie19
Having difficulty finding an answer to this...When signing a Compromis de Vente when you do not yet have a French bank account (the account set up is pending but will not be up and running for the date of signing the C de V.)...how and when can the 10% deposit be paid to the Notaire?I mean.....Does it have to be paid immediately? Can a direct money transfer be made to the Notaire? Will
It becomes payable by the end of your so-called 'cooling off' period (i.e. 7 days after you receive your final copy of the compromis de vente, signed by all parties).Yes, you can use money transfer. The notaire will give you the details of the account to which the money should be paid.
