Trumps face color has now gone from orange to chocolate brown.

Recommended Posts

What is going on with Trumps face ?

Last election he was orange, now he is chocolate brown. He looks like something you would hang from an xmas tree.

What on earth (excuse the pun) is going on with Mr Trumps face color ?

Is he decomposing ? Is it a marketing thing ? Does he really look like that ?

It is likely that Trump might be the world’s first chocolate president.

But the question really is….why is he still here ? …and……Are 50 % of Americans that thick to vote for him ?

That said…France voted for Macron. The British voted for Starmer.

Who are we to judge?

Indeed.  Just heard an American woman interviewed on radio 4 this morning.  She said she was not ready for a woman president, could not think of any woman suitable "you would not want to be near one during her cycle" was part of her justification!!!!

I presume she was white and over the age of 50.  I am, unfortunately, sitting in the U.S. right now.  I despise this place.

No Menthe, I came here to help my Mom.  She's 84 and developed Cellulitis in her foot.  The infection spread to her Tibia and she has been advised to have her leg amputated.  It is a horrible situation.  She was sent home from the hospital with a PICC line.  Medicare offers NO in home nursing care and they don't allow a patient to remain in the hospital.  We've had to hire private nurses at the cost of $150 per hour to manage the IV antibiotics that go into the PICC line each day.  I had to come here to learn how to administer the drugs in the PICC line (something a layman should never have to do - it is very complicated and any mistake could kill the patient) among a million other things she needs.  Healthcare in America (I should say the lack thereof for most people that are not wealthy) is dreadful.

ALBF  in answer to your questions.

1  -  YES

2  -  There are alot of angry white people in America.  They seem to like him.

I would rather die than return to live here.

Thank you Dave.  It is heartbreaking.

She is leaning towards not having the surgery and calling in Hospice care as things get worse.

As someone else said to me, Too often the end of life is not worth living.  Assisted dying should be available for those who are clearly suffering.

Plus 1 to DL's post.  Lori, your poor mother, it is indeed a horrible, horrible situation.  I hope with all my heart that you are both managing to keep things ticking over.

The lack of medical care in the US does not surprise me.  I found out exactly how bad from an American forum I used to belong to.  It's a third world country in terms of medical care for the vast majority.

Thank you Menthe.

The hospital wanted to show me how to administer medication into the PICC line, but I couldn't get to the USA quick enough before they discharged her.

Working with the PICC line is considered so serious that the professional nursing agencies will only allow an RN to do the work.  No CNA's, etc.  They (the agencies) will also not train anyone else to manage the PICC line except immediate family members as the risks are considered too great.  We had to beg the hospital to train the private caregiver we've had for the last year.  She comes 3 days a week and she is now comfortable doing this.  The private RN's come the other four days of the week to do it.

I watched the procedure the one day I was at the house before having to leave due to contracting Covid during my travels.  I am not qualified to do this sort of medical procedure and certainly not on a daily basis.

Sorry ALBF, I seem to have hijacked your thread.
