confused of chalus
This year we will be completing our second French tax form. It has not arrived yet - should it have? I though it had to be completed by the end of April, or am I mis-remembering?I did look on the FAQ's but there were no dates mentioned.
Patf
We haven't got ours either. I think the date for returning them is the end of May, but could be wrong.

NormanH
I declare on line and had an email a couple of days ago saying that I could do it from the 26th April:Madame, Monsieur,L´année dernière, nous avons reçu près de 10 millions de déclarations en ligne, dont la vôtre. It sounds as if they are just beginning. The tax calendar for the year doesn't seem to give the deadlinehttp://www.impots.gouv.fr/portal/dgi/public/calendrier;jsessionid=4T5WJYJBP4YTZQFIEMRCFE4AVARW4IV1?successURL=/portal/dgi/public/calendrier%3Bjsessionid%3D4T5WJYJBP4YTZQFIEMRCFE4AVARW4IV1&pageId=part_cal_gene&espId=1&sfid=110&paf_gear_id=1700029&paf_dm=popup¤tDate=201004&titreDocument=Calendrier+fiscal+annuel&popupPageId=echeanceList&action=popupListEcheanceOfYear

oldgit72
I went to my local tax office as it is my first year and tried to get a form/s for 2009 tax. They only had the 2009/2008 forms and said the 2010/2009 forms are normally there at the start of May. Anyone else in this position? Are you using the online forms instead? Sunday Driver
If you get all your figures together beforehand, then completing the actual tax forms takes no time at all. If you call in and collect them sometime in mid May, that'll give you plenty of time.
BigWalker
I have seen the exchange in the forum about whether or not the tax forms are available yet. I see Norman fill his in online. As you know, there is not much time between receiving the forms and having to get them back. Normally that isn't a problem for me but this year I set out on May 15th for my 70 day walk to the North of England on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer UK So I need to complete the forms on line. I have had a look at the forms which are available (etrangeres) and am quite happy to do it that way but it is not clear to me, when you have completed the form, how you then transmit it to the authorities. Can anybody enlighten me, please. Also, do you know whether the ISF forms can be completed online. They will more than likely arrive after I have gone. Thanks for your help.My blog: http://vicsbigwalk.blogspot.com
cooperlola
You both complete and submit the forms on line (you can only do this in the second and subsequent years of declaration). You will be able to print out a confirmation of the submission, plus copies of what you have entered, and make corrections later if you find you've made a mess of it for any reason. You need to access your personal details in the Impots website - you should have a code for this somewhere on last year's return.Begin here: https://inscriptionpart.impots.gouv.fr/abos-03/modalitesReservation.do
