anotherbanana
We are fond of soft fruit and manage to eat and freeze enough for our occasional treats and for raspberry jam. But this year has so far not been a good year. Particularly the gooseberries which were in short supply, probably enough for a few tarts. However, it seemed that they were disappearing before I could get to them; pigeons she said which seemed right as there are a pair of fat ones in the nearest tree. So, I went to get what was left suitably dressed and armed. Imagine my surprise when I saw a broad, tail wagging, black backside sticking out of the middle of the gooseberry bushes. Maizy came out chewing and looking very pleased with herself having whiffled just about every one that was left! And without a by your leave went back to find more. And I saw her later looking closely at some low hanging Bramleys! Do your pets whiffle fruit?
DaveLister
Being a cattie rather than a doggie person I've little experience of fruit snafflers. However I did have one cat ( Magnum ) who would fight you for a slice of melon.
