Gardener
I am adding up my hours in order to complete the section on my tax form for the prime pour l'emploi. Can I include the 3 days I spent unpaid on the pre job offer course?I had to complete that before the job offer was made, so I wonder if I can mention those unpaid and technically unemployed hours at 2042C ligne NV to PV? Judie
Your total hours worked should be shown on your annual pay breakdown provided by your employer.
Gardener
Yes, It's whether I can include the 3 days unpaid but compulsory residential course I went on in order to get the job, that I need clarification on.
Judie
I wouldn't think so. Your hours worked are as confirmed by your employer on that form.Do you have an accountant? Or perhaps your employer can advise.
Gardener
No, I try and do it myself. I don't suppose it will make too much difference if I can't include it. I have been sent a tax brochure from my bank and it has made for good reading as I have found things that I was previously unaware I could claim for. Re the section on the prime pour l'emploi it tells me where to declare "si vous êtes salarié" which I knew about before but also mentions "si vous n'êtes pas salarié". Another trip to the Impôts may be called for!
