art08
Hi, I left France at the end of last year after having been made redundant, and went back to the UK. After leaving I received some more payment from my former employer (holidays paid out, profit sharing) from which the usual social security charges had been withheld. In my opinion this should not have been the case, since I no longer live or work in France.... Does anyone know where I can reclaim these contributions/ask for them to be refunded? Many thanks, Arthur
Sunday Driver
You can contact URSSAF and ask them for a refund, but I wouldn't hold your breath.....[;-)]
Neil
You probably wont be entitled to anything really - the employer has to pay the taxes on what they are paying you and hence you are "impossable".
