Panda Posted October 1, 2010 Share Posted October 1, 2010 This is presuably your second home (otherwise you wouldnt pay CGT). You can offset the things you've mentioned and depending on how long you've owned the house you will get a reduction on CGT after year 5 up to year 15 after which CGT is not paid.You can not offset interest payments on a mortgage.
