Aly
I notice that many UK banks no longer accept R105 to stop tax being deducted at source.Has anyone experience of claiming source tax back, and also how easy is this to do?
tinabee
Easy to do - just fill in form R43 available here:http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cnr/allow_nonres.htm#r43and send to UK. I generally chase mine via email (secure email available on HMRC website) to 1 make sure forms have been received2 make sure refund is being processedBest turnaround time so far is 1 month. tinabee
Yes. I usually wait until about May for the forms to be available online, then put in the claim.
