elainet
We are at the start of a major renovation but need to decide on the kitchen for the plumbing. Ikea seems to be the most accessible kitchen supplier but I have a feeling that nearly all Brits own an Ikea Kitchen. Is anyone able to suggest an equally accessible supplier
Clair
Try Lapeyre.

Sunday Driver
Some other national kitchen suppliers:Mobalpa...Schmitt...Arthur Bonnet....You could even try your local menuiserie company - our's does some very nice bespoke kitchens.
connolls
Hi,IKEA freestanding looks great in our kithcen. And a hell of a lot cheaper than others we looked at, and the quality and service has been great. Good luck.Mel.

LEO
Hi elainet,If you are at the start of your renovation you do not need to choose a supplier at this stage all you have to decide is ;A; the position B; roughly where the sink/drainage will need to be.We were still deciding which units to buy and how much to spend, one year after we started our renovation! Anton Redman
I have to say what is the problem. If you want something that is unique then perhaps Mark Wilkinson is worth the premium,
Charlotte3
Conforama.....plenty of choice, great price, helpful designer, more 'french' than Ikea etc.Aly
Boiling a frog
I do not have an Ikea kitchen, but I am British [:P]
Rose (& Greyman)
Some friends bought a Lapeyre kitchen - they had to call on a gang of mates to come and hold the units together while they were GLUED. Seemed a bit primitive to me and they said the quality wasn't great. We have also had bad after-sales service from them so I would cast a vote against Lapeyre. Scooby
Sorry a Brit here - and I hate Ikea. We had a carpenter make our units from locally sourced oak - that way it looks good with our freestanding furniture and, if we decide to change our kitchen in the future, then no problem.
