anotherbanana
Last time I was in the nudist beach it seemed that there were hundreds of naked mole rats lying about and or cavorting; the foto in the article looks remarkably like them. Do they come out from their underground tunnels in the summer to swim, waggle, dangle and worse, is it part of their mating rituals? The only difference afaics is the teeth which seem to be removable on the surface but which apparently regrow underground. Unless they remove them for mating purposes! https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20221206-what-naked-mole-rats-can-teach-us-about-treating-cancer

Lehaut
For them it may not much of a life (and indeed for a large percentage of humanity you can say the same thing ) but if we can find out what helps them live longer, the 1%ers may be able to live longer too and do even more damage to our and their environment!
