Translating a phrase

I have agreed to translate a short French text for someone into English.

Unfortunately it is badly written. One phrase that I'm really struggling with is, 'je mangeais trop de problèmes donc j’en chie des solutions'

How would you put that into English?

A literal translation I doubt exists. You are aware, I presume of how  'j’en chie des solutions' translates? Anyway for me I would simply say "I bit off more than I can chew and can't find a solution"

Since you said short, I take it you're not translating the entire rap lyrics? Good luck with it if you are!
