For normal UK-style life insurance "assurance décès" see this link:http://www.assuranceviedeces.fr/category/assurance-decesMake sure you pick a simple life insurance with no investment element as there are "combined" products on the market which are expensive , and neither good investments nor good life insurance. Lou Posted June 4, 2011 Share Posted June 4, 2011 John, We have simple life insurance policies for the two of us from MMA. They pay out on death or terminal illness. The premiums vary according to age, whether you're a smoker, things like that. Setting them up was very easy, and fortunately so far we've not had to see how good they are when we ask them to pay up!Parnsips is right - ours are definitely referred to in the paperwork as "assurance décès" Lou Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
