Are us older drivers creating mayhem on the roads, compared to the usual suspects, the 20 to 45 year olds auditioning for the next mad max movie? La baisse de la mortalité est la plus forte pour les personnes âgées de 75 ans ou plus (-34 % soit 179 tués de moins qu’en 2019), qui contribuent pour 1/4 de la baisse globale. La baisse la moins forte est observée pour les personnes âgées entre 65 et 74 ans (-9 % soit 29 tués de moins). La baisse de la mortalité des 18-34 ans, usagers à sur-risque routier important, est équivalente à la baisse globale ; elle contribue pour près de 1/3 à la baisse globale. La baisse de la mortalité impacte tous les réseaux routiers ; elle est cependant moins marquée en agglomération, et plus marquée sur autoroute, les déplacements de proximité ayant été maintenus. Harnser Posted April 5, 2022 Author Share Posted April 5, 2022 I would like to see a better analysis of the accident figures quoted, like in this dual axis block diagram manner, where it would make the possible cause clearer. For example - From the diagram you can see that the fatalities in the vehicule leger (cars) category are in the seul category (single vehicle accident) and are at more than twice the fatalities of colliding with other cars, which is not apparent by merely quoting the totals.
