Keni
Having sent off our first set of tax forms, can anyone tell us when we can expect to receive the Justificatif receipt/form as we need the confirmation for some legal stuff.Ta
NormanH
It's called the 'Avis d'imposition' (think of advice)It is also a bill if you have anything to pay.The date has got later in recent years. Last year I got mine at the beginning of September, but some people may get it earlier partly depending on where you live and so where your tax office is. Simon-the-censored
If you log on to your account on the impots.gouv.fr site - you can print of a list of all significant form dates. Top of your welcome page - sorry can't link to it for obvious reasons! In my area - for revenue - the first 'wave' are being sent out 5 Aug and the 2nd wave 8 Aug.They'll be available on line before you get them in the post.Simon :-)
Keni
Thanks for that - how do I find my account - this is our first year - is there a number I can track down?
idun
You can't Keni. You get you numbers to log on with, with the forms they will send you, it's the avis d'imposition, and you'll be able to do your return with these details next year.
Keni
Many thanks - we have to get some forms sent of and they keep asking for the 'Justificatif d'Imposition' - basically proof we're paying tax/living here full time.

The Riff-Raff Element
I've not heard of a justificatif de imposition. I've heard of a justificatif de domicile, which is, of course, your EDF bill. Or GDF, SAUR, assurance or a few other things. If you are here full time your mairie should be able to provide you with a piece of paper saying so, if time is pressing. NormanH
It's called the 'avis' as I made clear above, but can be asked for as a 'justicatif' of income for the bank/loans etc
