SOS! Visa validation is still in process and now the visa is expired, what should I do?

Hello! I hope you guys are doing well. I came to France with a talent passport visa under the highly skilled category. I have applied for validation as required, 2 months have passed and it's still under process. The entry visa expired at the end of December and now my current employer has informed me that they will not be able to pay me until this issue is resolved (temporary suspension of contract). 

I have tried to contact the prefecture Nanterre through email, phone and registered mail with no luck. I have even tried to go there multiple times and they didn't allow me to enter. The feedback that I got from the Administration Entrager platform (https://administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr/) is that my application is pending fingerprints (Biometric) which needs a summon from the prefecture and they can't help with anything else.

The last couple of weeks were very stressful and I appreciate any guidance or help on this matter. Thank you in advance :)
