Simon Whiting
Hello, I am a Sole Trader in the UK on contract with a French Company helping plan and later install stand elements at an exhibition hall.' The event is held annually and usually takes a year to organise. I am home-based (UK) and only travel to the venue to supervise the installation and usually stay until the dismantle (max 14 days). When the UK was a part of Europe, travelling and short-term work was easy. Now that the UK has left Europe, what are my options on travelling to and working in France for the duration of the build to take down? crabtree
You probably need to obtain a visa that permits working, but I am not sure. If you are on Facebook, this group gives great advice: https://www.facebook.com/groups/248686685795058/

Gardian
I would have thought that the best place to seek advice would be the French Embassy in London. On face value, you have a totally legitimate need for a visa and they ought to be able to guide you on the documentation required for a successful application. Amongst many other things, its what they’re there for.
