PaulT
I would think that perhaps Germany is getting fed up with the strikes that are going on in Greece.Given the fact that survival means sorting out the borrowings, i.e. stopping, and some of the workers are striking because of this. Perhaps they need to think what will happen if there is a default.Paul

Do you think we're being overly pessimistic?Steve

krusty
I think you could be right Jay , things are getting worse by the minute.BREAKING NEWS - According to defencenet, Prime Minister George Papandreou is rushing back to Greece -via London- and cancelling his scheduled trip to New York (thus his programmed meeting with Turkish President T. Erdogan next Friday will be cancelled). The press has been walking on coals since yesterday because the country was left without a leadership in the face of a possible heated crisis. Reports are now saying that Papandreou might call for early elections, in order to once again "blackmail" Greek citizens over the sixth tranche of EU aid, or.... his sudden return could also mean that the situation in the East Med. is much more serious than he estimated.Read more: Turkish forces being moved to Cyprus - Greece fears attack on Kastelrozo ~ H E L L A S F R A P P E http://hellasfrappe.blogspot.com/2011/09/turkish-forces-being-moved-to-cyprus_17.html#ixzz1YEkJjPvB http://hellasfrappe.blogspot.com/ Under Creative Commons License: Attribution
