Marcy
We are hoping to move out to area 49 in the autumn and will be bringing our horses/ponies.Over the years we have shown and showjumped at local riding clubs, county shows and affiliated competitions. We have not reached any great heights but have really enjoyed ourselves. Can anyone tell us what sort of competitions there are in this area?thanks

Richardbk
LAST EDITED ON 12-Jul-04 AT 11:27 AM (BST)have just got back from a week at the french pony nationals at Lamotte(41) - daughter didn't do too well with 2 rounds of 4 faults - but then this was only her 4th outing since being off for 4 months until beginning of June with a broken leg - at least we did manage to sell a pony - BTW this IS the time/place to buy/sell competition ponies.Have a look at many of the previous postings about competeting in France - it is a very different to the UK ....e.ghttp://www.livingfrance.com/dcforum/DCForumID43/235.htmlhttp://www.livingfrance.com/dcforum/DCForumID43/166.htmlhttp://www.livingfrance.com/dcforum/DCForumID43/138.htmlhttp://www.livingfrance.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=197&forum=DCForumID24&archive=yeshttp://www.livingfrance.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=45&forum=DCForumID43&archive=yesregsRichard
