cs
I have lots of stone pots complete with plants which I would like to bring over to in france. I'm not sure about the regulations concerning plants to france and I have had some conflicting info from friends ie I can take the plants but not the soil, I can leave the plants in the soil in the pots and bring them, I can't bring plants into france at all! Can someone give me the correct info please.
Guest CFrost
Hitry contacting defra, they give advice on a number of things and should be able to give you a definitive answer for the plants etc.kimberleychadeniers
Will
If they are normal garden plants you should have no trouble at all.
M
I'm not sure what the law is but we've taken loads of garden plants to France in the boot and never been stopped.I've to say that we've found some of the plants were actually cheaper there than UK. Judie
I pop over to the UK about 6 times a year and frequently bring back plants that I don't see locally or which are particularly good value. They are always in view in the back of my car and I have never been questioned, despite having to brave Customs on two occasions.
