idun
I'm just wondering as mine has actually gone missing. Well over 48 hours now and they are usually done in 24 hours or even same day. As I said in another post, I was bought and sold by a bank, and the new bank is Banque Populaire, who I left to go to my present bank. At first the service had been OK with the Banque Populaire, but then it changed and it ended up being 'bad'. And now indirectly I am with them again and I hate it. I never did close my account with the Crediti Mutuel, but wouldn't go back to them if they paid me, and the only one we have with a cheque book is the BNP and I feel like screaming as we left them for a good reason. NormanH
Don't forget that Tuesday was a Bank Holiday in France, and Monday was taken as a 'pont'May explain the delay?
idun
My french bank was open on Monday and that is when I sent my form authorising the transfer. They said that they couldn't do it then, but really they could have. My transfer went on Wednesday and I actually looked later that day, as I have had same day transfers. I expected it yesterday at lunchtime, but no, and not today. They say 48hours but we are well over that now. I transfer regularly, so know how it works and it has never gone missing in action before.
