Frecossais
It has been a lovely day here in SE England, but my OH has just informed me that in our part of Burgundy (71) the temperature will be 19degreesC on Thursday. Let it keep improving please, we're soon on our way!
JSKS
Can confirm that the weather in 71 is currently splendid, although with enough of a breeze still to need a jacket.

Frecossais
Talking about weather news services, I find I'm quite impressed with forecasts given by the BBC. It's not only the accuracy of their forecasts, it's the clarity of them, and the the way they display all the various parts of the country. Their local weather news is also informative and can be relied on. In contrast, the French reports tend to be hurried affairs, with token visual aids that leave you no wiser about what to expect from the day. And the only local ones I've found on any channel have been simply read out without any visual info. Now it could be that I'm a stereotype Brit, obsessed with the weather, and who needs it anyway, or maybe I just haven't found a channel that actually spends some time on the particular not just the general in weather forecasting. Don't know, but at the moment it's BBC weather news 8, TF1 and 2 nil.
JSKS
We find this site quite accurate:http://france.lachainemeteo.com/meteo-france/previsions-meteo-france-0.php?And you can put in your post code for a local forecast.
Frecossais
Problem for us is that we haven't got the Internet at our French home, too far from the exchange apparently. For keeping in touch with the family it's MacDo and their free Wifi. For weather it's the telly.
