Clair
Registration is now open for a French language for non-French speakers (Français langue étrangère) course in Figeac. You MAY qualify for European funding for this course, which was nearly cancelled last year due to lack of interest... Cost otherwise about €8/hr.The course is 4 hours(½ day) per week + 2 hours homework (recommended but not compulsory) onsite.More info at:"Maison de la Formation"6, avenue Bernard Fontanges46100 FIGEACTel : 05 65 34 44 56e.mail : Maison.formation.figeac@wanadoo.frSite : http://www.maison-formation.com
Callandclan
Clair I looked into this at the beginning of the year, but it was way above my budget. My husband and i have been paying for private lessons, 13 euros an hour. I would love to study more, but at 8 euros for 4 hours this would prove to expensive for us.Could you explain how we could apply for European funding and what the criterior would be. Many thanksJan
Clair
You MAy qualify for European Fundings if you are registered with the ANPE (job centre). You best bet would be to to call in person or phone and ask to be assessed. My OH's interview was very "gentle" and simple. There may be other ways of getting this funding, but this is the one I know about. You could also check the EU site (in all possible languages!): http://europa.eu.int/Good luckClair
