val douest Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 There is now a shop in Lescar, the commercial suburb of Pau, which isrun by a Frenchwoman (Brigitte) and stocks a wide range of the kind offoods which are widely used in the UK but hard to find here. Apart from the usual Marmite, Guinness, bacon and teas they stock agood range of spices for curries, chutneys and relishes, thick creams,plus vegetarian and quorn products. The shop is called The LittleLondon Larder and it is at 1 Rue Souvenir Français, behindCastorama. Tel 05 59 77 80 69 - open Tues-Sat 10-7 (no info onlunchtime closing).
