SO excited.....Now we need to find a team of builders (english speaking would be great- we are learning but not there yet...). The roof looks a bit tired but any advice would be greatfully appreciated.also, we would like to install some bathrooms. And a kitchen?Any advice would be great. WJT Posted May 6, 2006 Share Posted May 6, 2006 Just a warning, I would recommend staying away from a few that are listed on that site in your area. We did not have any work done by them outside of one in your area that did provide a service just prior to purchasing (would not recommend). Another just wasted a lot of time and never provided a devis; they are a company that travel to different parts of France. It certainly isn't easy finding good builders at least it hasn't been for us, we are still looking. We will probably deal with local French artisans (fingers crossed) . I would say that if you consider doing this as well and language is a problem it may be an idea to hire someone to manage the project or perhaps hire someone to act as translator, could save you money in the end.
