Sunshine
Everyone is talking about the weather and it has been very nice in the Cahor area. We had G + T on the patio yesterday after a hard day grafting in the garden. My shrubs look a little over dressed with their funny jumpers on. Is it too early to remove the fleece? We are a bit N of you, near St Cere, and for each of the past 3 years have had snow at the end of Feb.Johnnot
Cat
I'd say it's still too early Sunshine. We're in Salviac, not too far from you, and although the days have been lovely and warm the temperature still dips sharply into the minus figures at night sometimes. There is a specified day here in France (I can't remember the date, but it's called something like sans de glace, I'll ask Mr Cat when he gets home) that is supposed to be the very last day that we might expect frost. It's a while off yet though.
Sunshine
Thanks for the replys. I thought it was too early. But as usual I have lulled into thinking the very worst was over.I think it will be hot chocolate on the patio today as it is certainly cooler than yesterday.Off to plant some more seeds. The easterly wind has been whistling through all the gaps round the doors since yesterday (thank goodness we replaced the windows!) and is blowing at 60km/h... Even the semi-wild cat is refusing to put a paw outside!!! [:'(]
