Kitty
In the Medoc (33), we had hail stones the size of mint imperials. They were so big that as at 3pm, they still not melted behind my shed, even though it has been a hot day.
Rob Roy
Crikey Clair, you are not that far south of us! I did notice it was quite a bit colder this morning, but then we had some lovely sunshine by midday. How long did your snow last for? I must admit I also get quite excited when it snows!ColinE - Clair is NNE of where you are going - have a look at your departments in your French road atlas, that will give you an idea. Iceni
We are at 1500 ft but, as you know, a bit to the SW of you. All we had was a few minutes of white rain. In Jan 2006 when we awoke to snow 18/20 inches deep it had nearly all gone within 36 hours.Johnnot
