leo
Can anyone help me? Staying in St Georges by Royan and I know there is a load of buses you can catch and I thought I had bookmarked the website but I seem to have lost it. Am particulary interested in Ille de Ray be not sure how long the journey would be by public transport and obviously how expensive. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks. Chas
Royan tourist office may be able to help. It is on the left just as you enter Royan on the beach road from St Georges. I don't know much about the bus services except that they seem to be a bit thin on the ground. Anyway good luck and I hope the weather improves for you. Just had a late rush of blood and edited in the second link which looks a bit more promising. leo
Many thanks Chas the last link is the one I had been looking for and it works perfectly! The buses aren't too bad, although it does mean a change in Royan if you are going west. You can get one direct to Talmont and one direct to Saintes but I admit they aren't too regular.
