Mac
Filled in our French tax forms (first time) and sent with them the Individual Tax forms (the ones in French and English) Received the English copies back less than 2 weeks ago and sent them on to the tax office in Cardiff-yesterday morning credit in our bank account from HMRC for all tax paid last year. Is this a record-under 14 days from sending forms to getting credit?

suein56
Received the English copies back less than 2 weeks ago and sent them on to the tax office in Cardiff-yesterday morning
Obviously the direct route is the quickest; you should be grateful your local tax office sent the UK forms back to you. The normal route is for the local tax office to send the forms to the Tax Office for us foreigners in Paris for stamping and verification. After which the papers slowly make their way to the UK where eventually they are dealt with. Ours took 20 months. [8-)]Sue
