Loiseau
Lots of trips to the dump, and to Emmaüs in my experience. Try and give away/sell what you can to friends and neighbours first.Do your buyers want to purchase any choice items? Mine took a few, though paid peanuts. Patf
We sold some things on Leboncoin. One friend bought a lot, eg wood van diy stuff. I didn't have much luck with Emmaus, though they had been helpful in the past. We gave most of the sitting room furniture to friends in the village, they were happy as theirs was falling apart. We ended up leaving a lot behind, our buyers didn't seem to mind. betise
Some house clearing firms will do it for free, providing that you have enough tempting furniture to make it worth their while.

Judith
Why, Pat? They have Emmaus in England, very useful one just north of Cambridge when we were clearing my father's house!
