springbank
we have been looking for a farm in southern france for about a year now. Does anyone know of any for sale, either a neighbour or an agent who might have some on their books. We would like at least 80ha, suckler cows(not dairy), sheep, arable or a mixture of these would be preferable. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.thanks again Graham
Mpprh
HiSouth of France is a big place. Most of the farms around here are based on vine and olives. The Camargue has cattle. It may be worth looking here : http://www.immodumidi.com/Bonne chancePeterThe Languedoc Page : http://tlp.netfirms.com
ckenway
France as you know is divided up in to regions as far as farming goes. Down here it is wine, sunflowers, apples and pears, no dairy farming (well very, very little. I know of two small farms and thats it and they only have about 10 to 15 animals each. Goats might be a better idea.Chris
Lizziebg
Having lived here in the Herault for a year I can honestly say that I haven't seen a single cow or sheep. Now if it was lizards and olives and vines you were after...... Good luck in your search!
