Aspiran
Does anyone have a "secret" best way to get to Montpellier from London? I booked Ryanair but they just changed their departure/arrival times for their one flight daily and the new ones are terrible. You don't arrive in Montpellier until after 5:00 pm and the return gets you to Stansted at 6:30. Heaven help you if they don't take off on time! Thanks in advance, Janice

CeeJay
Yes..........my favourite way, which I confess is not too secret, is to drive down!!!
Baz
Why not fly Ryanair to Nimes it is only 30 mins drive from Montpellier and the morning flight arrives at 09.50 from 29 April and return arrives back at Stansted at 11.15. They also have a late afternoon flights as well, so the frequency is better than to Montpellier. Alternatively BA has a daily flight out of Gatwick to Montpellier and good deals are sometimes available.Baz
Jc
Waterloo(or Ashford) to Lille;walk across platform-then Lille to Montpellier.First part is on Eurotunnel train-rest is on TGV and you don't have to cross Paris by Metro or taxi!
Louise
We always fly GB Airways (subsidiary of BA) out of Gatwick, the prices are usually good and the timings are fine too (we have two young children so it's important for us to not arrive middle of night or have to leave too early in the morning), and they are usually on time as well; generally they are way better than Ryanair. Getting to Gatwick from Victoria station is easy on Gatwick Express, 30 mins door to door.
