Jaonkm
Hi, My husband and I are returning to Nice in a few weeks time to continue our search to buy an appartment there. We have done a lot of research but because our French is not great we would feel more comfortable if we got an English speaking solicitor to help us with the process. Does anyone know any solicitors that they would recommend? Also, any tips about the best areas to buy in Nice? We're very taken with Cimiez but wonder will it be more difficult to rent out than if it was in the city centre. Any suggestions gratefully received!ThanksJane
csccsc
Hello Jane, I did some research and maybe you could try those links : http://frenchrealestate.articleinsider.com/78616_real_estate_in_nice.htmlhttp://riviera.angloinfo.com/af/144/http://www.agence-maisonfrance.com/I wish you good luck! oh by the way, I am from Nice, I live in the U.S now, but if you need any advice I'll be happy to help. Cimiez is a very charming area, residential essentially, I defenitly recommend it, and it's also pretty safe. Another good area is Fabron, also residential. I wouldn't go for something downtown near the Avenue Jean Medecin or Zone Pietonne, and Vieille ville where you have the Marche Aux Fleurs, these are unsafe. ps : I am also a translator so if you need any help do not hesitate.Sincerely.Carol
