Patty
What is the best way to get from Montpellier airport to Nimes? Thanks,Patty
Audois
Join the autoroute (D62) at Garons heading towards Montpellier (centre) and after a few km's turn onto the A9 heading east. Nimes is about 40mins on, you either take Nimes Ouest or turn onto the A54 and take Nimes Centre just after you've joined it.Any problems then look it up on www.viamichelin.com
Mpprh
Hiyou don't say that you are driving ?By public transport :Take the shuttle bus from the airport to Montpellier station, then pick up a train to Nimes.Peter

A tad confusing, Audois! Garons is Nimes airport. Montpellier Airport is locally known as Fréjorgues.Driving is easy. There is only one road out of Montpellier Airport. At the big roundabout take the exit for the A9 motorway and Montpellier centre, then a couple of kilometres on, get onto the A9 itself (as Audois said). Couldn't be easier, no need to go into or through Montpellier.

DMC
Peter's advice is the only feasible way without a car. However, you also have to catch the Navette (small bus) parked straight outside Nimes Station - only costs about €4.50 if I remember correctly.Doug
Mpprh
HiActually, a 500m walk along the road directly opposite Nimes station will bring you to the Arenes ?Peter
