linfr
Good morning all,Can anyone answer my query please? My husband has had a 'rent' or pension for an industrial injury for some years now. The last payment was 6€ less than expected. Could this be some new tax? I have no contact point for querying it with, never have any notification when the annual rise is paid etc. If nobody knows, my starting point will be CPAM, but not somewhere I go unless I really have to! It isn't a furtune obviously but we would still like to know where it has gone! Thanks, Lin
sid
Sounds rather bizarre to me. Your husband receives a pension, you don't get any notification of increases but somehow you calculate that this time you've got 6€ too little... based on what? surely you must know where it's coming from ! Why would CPAM want to get involved?Beats me.
linfr
Based on the fact that it is 6€ less than the last payment! It only alters once a year and is paid three-monthly. Before my husband received this pension he had to be assessed by a doctor at Securité Sociale and the one and only piece of paper we have (the notification of the decision) is from CPAM. The payments are for an 'accident du travail'. Sorry if I didn't explain the situation properly. As I said, I hesitate to go to CPAM over 6€ as it is always hassle and lots of waiting, but OH wants his 6€ back! I would send him but he wouldn't keep up with the conversation unfortunately [:(]
idun
Have your cotisations or CSG etc gone up? Usually they advise of a change of amounts, at least the french pension people do.
linfr
There is no mention of any cotisations on any of his pensions, state, complimentary or rent. We don't get notifications on any of them when they change annually, the amount paid into our account just goes up. None of them are large amounts as my husband worked for a UK company most of his working life in France, it was only the last 8 years that he worked for french companies. idun
We have had several changes to the pension over the last 20 months, especially as they needed to sort it out and get it right, the useless worthless incompetant idiots that they are at the CNAV. And we owed them money as they were overpaying, which I told them from the start. When the penny dropped, they then sent a threatening letter telling us we owed and they wanted the money and would take it more or less in any way they pleased.HOWEVER, they did send us letters advising us of the new amounts and we have had notification of increases too, even when we were not entitled. I assumed that they always sent out a notification of any changes, because along with all the m er de, we did get them.I think even for 6€ I'd get in touch with them and ask. linfr
In my heart I know you are right, just trying to avoid going to CPAM as they always seem so miserable. I'll have to had a 'do it' day, steel myself and get all the horrrible jobs done - like getting in touch with Orange as I couldn't text while in the UK and making an appointment to see the Assistant Sociale to sort out 90 year old Mum's rights, if she has any! Ho hum........Thanks for your replies anyway.
