BLTflyer
As the title says , anyone know when the Ski lifts close?
Owens88
Each varies. Last year we skied at Easter but some closed after Easter Monday. I rang before I drove up.The CG 66 site is quite useful (if its in 66 you want). John

Dotty0
We went skiing last Easter at Mont Les Olmes in the Pyrenees. We were staying about an hour away and just ran the risk and turned up. Only found one ski hire place open and had the pick of the runs. The morning was fantastic, skied not stop until lunch time. After lunch found the snow to be pretty slushy, it was a very hot, sunny day. Made the skiing much harder, but came away with a lovely colour. I would recommend you check out the websites for snow conditions and opening times. Do you have room for another?Dotty
Just Katie
Somebody on this forum lives at St Cyprien but I cant remember who. Anyone?
Owens88
Hi it was P2000 we did last easter. Very nice it was too. Not half as slushy as Feb 2004. Hardly any queues. The garage at Mont Louis a good place for gear BTW. If you search on the cg66 site now you will find a phone no that you can ring afore ye go. ( I got in the habit of ringing as in Feb 2005 there were days when the slopes closed because of wind.. At Easter 2005 Eyne was closed which was a pain as we had decided to 'explore'. Went to the beach instead and found laRocque. Enjoy yourself. I am feeling quite jealous.
BLTflyer
Thanks for the replies, Looks like I may get my 1 last go after all.Where is " laRocque " ?As its the Windy time of year where is the best place to get a bit of sun but out of the wind. opas
I presume Larocque is the one near Argeles plage situated in les Alberes.Somewhere sunny and out of the wind mmm let me see, has to be our roof terrace. Avoid St Cyprien when it is windy or you will be sandblasted!
